OUR STORY
TopRow began on the Thames in 2019 with a simple goal: make rowing easier to access.
What started in Amsterdam has grown into hubs in Melbourne, New York and Haarlem, all built around the same approach.
Today, we’re a familiar sight on the Putney Embankment, rowing year-round before work, after work, and on weekends. (That’s right, you can learn to row with us any time of year!)
We think rowing shouldn’t require joining a traditional club. We aim to remove the complexity and barriers that stop people from trying the sport, focusing instead on making rowing straightforward, friendly, and convenient – so more people can get on the water.
